Howard Wicker, Jr. Memorial Fund
On February 20, 2016, Baltimore lost one of its sharp dressed men, Howard Wicker, Jr. With a background in fashion design and a passion for giving back to the community, Howard devoted most of his career to helping individuals to reenter their communities after a period of incarceration. He served as director of the Ex-Offender Mentoring Academy and Training Center of the Living Classrooms Foundation. During his tenure at Living Classrooms, he initiated a partnership with Sharp Dressed Man, where men who transitioned back into the workforce after a period of incarceration or homelessness found gently worn suits.
As Howard’s friends remember and miss him, we have created a fund in which we hope to raise $5,000 and donate 50 suits in his memory. Please help us reach our goal and in turn help the men who Howard served so well for so long by giving a donation today.
